History of the Rhythm Gallery

The Rhythm is a radio program that airs Wednesdays from 10:30 – Midnight on CJAM 99.1fm. The program has been hosted by Adam Francesconi since 2004.  On The Rhythm Gallery you will hear a variety of soulful house music, techno mixed in with broken beat jazz.

The Program was originally started by Jerry The Cat who’s idea was to mix together many different forms of electronic music that can be found in the community.  DJ Minx  took the hold of the show when Jerry stepped down. Around 2003 David Scott picked up the show from Minx and kept with the deep house vibe.

The Rhythm Gallery originally aired Wednesday afternoons 2:30 to 5 pm. Sometime around 2008 CJAM reorganized the entire lineup to take advantage of WDET move to drop most of it’s music programs. CJAM moved The Rhythm Gallery to it’s current late night spot of 10:30 – Midnight.
